How Alabama created a state-wide emergency management tool using geospatial mapping
Norven Goddard, assistant director for Science and Technology Alabama Department of Homeland Security, and Chris Johnson, vice president of the Geospatial Training and Application Center in Alabama, will present a GCN InSight eSeminar at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, describing how the Virtual Alabama project, a Web portal for state-based geographic resources, was assembled using geo-mapping tools. Joab Jackson, chief technology editor for GCN, will host the eSeminar.
