The Air Force has chosen six vendors to compete for $252 million to provide offensive and defensive information warfare techniques to support operations, acquisition and testing at the Air Force Information Warfare Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts were chosen last month and announced yesterday. The contractors that will compete for delivery orders are: Adtech Systems of Wayland, Maine; Computer Sciences Corp.; Macauley Brown of Dayton, Ohio; Science Applications International Corp. of San Diego, Calif.; Titan Corp. of San Diego; and Veridian Information Solutions of Arlington, Va.

The work includes systems planning, feasibility studies, system engineering, analysis, prototyping, software development, verification, validation, documentation, software maintenance, systems integration and testing.
