GSAs Miller to join Robbins-Gioia
By Susan M. Menke, GCN Staff
Emory Miller, the General Services Administrations respected former director of professional development, today said he will join Robbins-Gioia LLC of Alexandria, Va., as senior vice president for corporate development.

Miller retired from GSA Jan. 3 and will take up his new duties March 1. In the meantime, he said, Im at the beach, believe it or not. Its the coldest time Ive ever spent on the Outer Banks.

In his nearly four decades in the government, Miller fostered many federal careers. He helped to set up the CIO University as well as the Trail Boss, SmartBuy, and Strategic and Tactical Advocates for Results programs.

Miller said his deputy, Gary Winters, is the interim director of professional development at GSA.

Robbins-Gioia is a privately held consulting company that specializes in project management.
