GSA taps five companies for contact center services

Five companies have won a five-year, $150 million contract from the General Services Administration to provide contact center services to help government agencies improve their delivery of services.

Part of the USA Services e-government initiative, the contract gives government agencies and departments a vehicle to buy single or multidimensional contact services. USA Services was established to help citizens access information about government and federal services,

The contract is also a recompete for the GSAs National Contact Center service vendor, which provides support for citizen telephone and e-mail requests such as general and congressional inquiries, services information and fulfillment.

The GSA contract went to Aspen Systems Corp., Rockville, Md.; Datatrac Information Services Inc., Richardson, Texas; ICT Group Inc., Newtown, Pa.; Pearson Government Solutions Inc., Arlington, Va.; and Teletech Government Solutions Inc., Englewood, Colo.
