Army awards training services deal to DRC

The Army Training, Doctrine and Combat Development Directorate has awarded a $97 million task order contract to Dynamics Research Corp. for doctrine and training services, according to officials from Andover, Mass.-based DRC.

The Army directorate is based at Fort Knox, Ky., and Dynamics Research opened an office in Radcliff, Ky., to service the contract.

Under the contract, DRC will provide services associated with modular and future combat systems equipped forces. The work will update armor-proponent training products, programs and strategies in support of the mounted force.

The work also could include mounted combat systems, reconnaissance and security vehicles, command and control vehicles, and armed robotic vehicles, the company said.
