GSA makes Brennan acting chief of performance division

General Services Administration acting administrator David Bibb has appointed J. Gregory Brennan as the new acting head of the Office of Performance Improvement.

As acting administrator for OPI, Brennan will be responsible for implementing the President’s Management Agenda initiatives within GSA, along with other performance improvement programs.

In the most recent quarterly PMA scorecard, GSA earned the coveted “green” status in two areas—competitive sourcing and financial performance—but received “yellow” status, meaning the agency was not in complete compliance in human capital, E-government and budget performance and integration.

Prior to this appointment, Brennan served as GSA’s associate administrator for small business utilization and was a special assistant for security affairs in the Coalition Provisional Authority of Iraq’s Ministry of the Interior.
